In the Upholstery Trade it is mainly used as a final covering before the top cover is put on.
Can be used to make up under covers for cushions.
We also use this calico to make covers for our Mattress Overlays.

The other Calico is a schedule 3 F/R Interliner. It is ideal for upholstery and making inner covers for cushions that have to have an interliner. This Calico is heavier than our Standard Calico

Stockinette is cheap and easy. It makes a great cover over the foam before you put on your top cover.
We use this on our foam cushions for armchair and settee replacments.
It makes the top cover slide on and off very easily.
For filling Beanbags we also provide Stockinette as an inner cover.
Just knot the end and pour them in! You will need 2 metres for the average Bean Bag
